ROOTS Family Picnic Takes a Break

After 50+ years of Labor Day Weekend gatherings, the annual ROOTS Family picnic is taking a break in 2025. The organization behind this beloved event is transitioning to new leadership and is taking a year to reset and reorganize in order to be able to bring the community many more years of vibrant community based events.

We thank all the many volunteers who have dedicated time and energy to making each event a fun, family friendly affair! We also thank all of you in our extended CD community for coming out and supporting all these years.
