Sasarine LaCroix black history diorama collection of famous heroes and heroines, is featuring displays for Black History

Calvin West, local curator of the late Sasarine LaCroix black history diorama collection of famous heroes and heroines, is featuring displays for Black History Month.  St Therese Academy and primarily the Douglas Truth Library are displaying several of the LaCroix collection this month . Multiple artists, athletes, poets, etc. are featured in wonderful display case settings for viewing.  The multi-talented artist was locally known as Aunt Dixie.  She and her husband Felix were long-time residents of the Central Area.
