Josephine Howell is a multi-talented artist in Seattle. She was born in Chicago, Illinois.

Her community involvement was evident. Also, she spoke about her love for the arts, her life, and other things.

Her biography states that she had “always been fascinated with music and the arts.” There’s a reason behind her fascination with music. During a short phone interview, she said what fascinates her about music and the arts is “the freedom to be creative, explore, and the expectation to deliver from what you receive.”

She started singing in the church as a child. The church was a major contributor to her singing. She stated it taught her to “sing what you know about” and “sing from your heart.”

Another lesson it taught her was to learn more about the man above who gave her the ability to sing. For those of you who do not, Howell’s nickname is Josie.

Besides singing, she has other creative talents. Some talents include “dancing and acting.”

These talents she includes alongside her musical performances. Howell wants to “tell the story, not just sing the song.”

Also, her biography stated, “Her voice alone tells a story in every song.” She said this means the audience is experiencing whatever it is joy, laughter, or feeling the pain she is enduring.

Howell wants listeners to receive what is being said she suggested during the interview. “More than just notes, I want people to get the message of the song,” Howell added.

Not only does she use her voice to sing but she speaks for others as well. She gave specifics on how she has done this. She has spoken to the government about homelessness and fighting to end it.

Additionally, she has spoken to agencies about the signs of people being on the “verge of exploding.” and the “verge of giving up.” She even spoke about others having self-love and explaining to people “what love looks like.”

Also, Howell is hosting the Sounds of the Sound 7. Howell said it is an event that showcases local artists to people “who haven’t had the chance to experience them.” Howell will be the event’s feature artist. There will be food there. She calls this “her baby.” It is a way to let underdogs know they can do this too.

The event occurs on Nov. 30, 2024, and starts at 6:30 p.m. It will be at the Town Hall Seattle on 1119 8th Ave Seattle, WA 98101.

The Sounds of the Sound 7 is not the only event Howell does.

She sings at various events. They include graduations, funerals, and weddings.

If you want to contact her, her business phone number is 206-294-2084 and her email is josephinehowellproductions@gmail.com. Also, you can go to her website, which is josephinehowell.com.
