In loving memory of Victor "Vic" Cook

Victor affectionately known as “Vic” was born March 26, 1951 in Seattle, WA, and departed this life on May 19, 2020. He was the oldest child born to Ms. Betty Doris Jean Cook. As a staple of the central area, their home was always open for enjoyable meals, fun and activities. Vic received his formal education through the Seattle School District and enlisted with Job Corps after high school. While there, he studied culinary arts and graduated as a Head Chef. Vic was a 16 yr. employee of Cherry Heights Villa Care, where he found his life’s passion. After leaving their employment, he began doing in-home caregiving services to family and friends.


He was preceded in death by his Mother Ms. Betty Doris Jean Cook, his sister Roseanne M. Cook, his brother Calvin R. Cook and one niece Nina Jean Marie Cook. Vic leaves to cherish his memories his brothers: Edward M. Cook, Michael B. Cook, his sisters: Deborah D. Cook (Karl), Zelda A. Gray, Sharon Presley-Bruce (Jimmy), Linda Tinner-Jones (George), Best friend: Frank Fields, two Aunts Florene Redd and Pauline Vanison. A host of nieces, nephews, cousin’s and many many friends.
