Get ready for an exhilarating, high-flying adventure with trainer J.D. Platt and The K9 Kings Flying Dog Show. Each action-packed performance includes eight talented dogs displaying heart stopping aerial tricks, obedience, crowd participation and high-energy paws-itively amazing fun. Watch in awe as a team of skilled rescue/shelter dogs leap, soar and defy gravity in a dazzling array of athletic routines. It’s a whole lot of tail-wagging action that will leave everyone barking for more and definitely don’t forget to come visit after the show, the world’s largest meet greet and pet area.

Celebrate Fridays with our spectacular fireworks show! The amazing display will light up the skies of Puyallup at 10 p.m. every Friday night at the Fair.

New this year, now on Fridays (previously on Mondays) - Gate admission is free to all active, reserve and retired military and National Guard and their dependents, plus disabled veterans, when each shows valid military ID at any Fair gate.

Take a walk on the wild side at Animals of the World. This exhibit is a safari for your senses with mini zebu, jungle fowl, African Pygmy Mice, Emu and even a Sugar Glider. Location: Barn H
THE PUYALLUP RODEO – SEPT 10-13
The PRCA Cinch Playoffs Wild Card Puyallup Rodeo is one of just two Cinch Playoff locations, an important step on the road to the National Finals Rodeo (NFR) in Las Vegas this December. The top competitors in each event will vie for their part of the prize winnings, and their performances will bring guaranteed edge-of-your-seat action! The top PRCA and WPRA athletes in the country, will give the fans a rodeo to remember! The Puyallup Rodeo Cinch Playoffs at the Washington State Fair, is one of the Top 10 rodeos in the country. This is the 93rd rodeo held in Puyallup during The Fair, bringing a fine-tuned performance for rodeo fans and first timers alike.

PUYALLUP RODEO BREAKFAST – SEPT. 11, PIONEER PARK PAVILION, PUYALLUP
Need some energy to get ready for Rodeo weekend? Come fill up on a delicious breakfast, served by the Washington State Fair Wranglers. The Wranglers are instrumental in many facets of the Puyallup Rodeo and they kick off the festivities, by welcoming the entire community for a low-cost hearty feast ($5). PUYALLUP RODEO
PARADE & CATTLE DRIVE – SEPT. 11, 10 AM
Don’t miss the 25th annual cattle drive and parade down Meridian (Puyallup’s major arterial), in this non-motorized parade. Equestrian drill teams, school marching bands, horse hitches, costume characters and loads of fun, celebrate the Puyallup Rodeo weekend.
SCHOOL SUPPLY DRIVE – SEPT. 11, 10:30 AM–2:30 PM

Keep the rodeo spirit going with an unforgettable afternoon of BBQ, music, dancing and western fun at the Fair! Whether you’re heading over after the matinee performance or gearing up for the 6:30 pm evening rodeo, this exclusive party is the perfect place to gather, celebrate and kick up your boots.

This full-day event celebrates Mexican culture and arts, with special entertainment and fun for the whole family on Coca-Cola and Showplace Stages. Plus, two FREE concerts will be featured in the Grandstand at 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. featuring Voz De Mando, Sonora Dinamita, Mariachi Divas and DJ Spin.
Enjoy a fabulous variety of entertainment ranging from traditional mariachis to colorful folkloric dancers and authentic food.
