Ernestine Armstrong, lovingly known as
"Ernie" to her friends, and "Big Mama" to her Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren, and Great-Great Grandchildren transitioned to "The Great Beyond" on April 23rd. at 7:45 a.m. after a brief battle with Covid-19.
She was born in Selma Alabama and raised in Detroit Michigan. She moved to Seattle in the '70s to help with the rearing and raising of her six grandchildren.
She met Edward Armstrong in Seattle, they fell in love and married, and they stayed married until His passing July 11, 2005.
We celebrate Her life on May 13th. 2021 at Greenwood Memorial Park in Renton:
Viewing: 10 a.m. - 1 p.m., Indoor Memorial: 1 - 2 P.M., Graveside Memorial 2 -3 P.M.
