Gerald Reed was born August 16, 1930 in San Francisco, California to Richard Peter Reed and Delores Jackson-Reed. He served in the US Navy from 1950-1954. He moved to Seattle, WA where he met his wife of 56 years Girtha and they had a blended family of 15 children. Gerald accepted the Lord at the Seed of Abraham Pentecostal Church under the leadership of the late Prophetess Bass on Easter Sunday 1985 and was filled with the Holy Ghost on April 8 th in the prayer room. He was ordained as a Deacon in 1990 by the late Prophetess Bass and served faithfully until his death. He was a member of the Heavenly Host Choir and was Sunday School Superintendent Deacon Reed was a pure example of the beatitudes. Homegoing Services will be held Saturday, April 17 th at the Seed of Abraham Pentecostal Church located at 246 Wells Ave N. Renton, WA CDC Guidelines will be adhered to mask will be worn as well as social distancing.
